"Blackheath
Halls has two rooms, both built for Victorian classical concerts.
They are not easy rooms to master acoustically, especially when
using amplification. Which makes it essential that Stuart is in
control of the sound. It was the one condition that I accepted my
last booking there. Stuart had to do the sound. Full stop. He
becomes part of the band, another musician. Soundchecks are
brilliantly executed as he works to the tempo of those preparing on
stage. Be it big band or quintet, our onstage sound has been perfect
as too reports from the paying public."

"Stuart Howitt
provided sound engineering services at Blackheath Halls for nearly 6
years. Blackheath Halls promotes a very varied range
of programming including classical, jazz, world, folk, rock and pop
and club nights. His professional approach and keen ear made him a
great asset to the venue and a pleasure for artists to work with.

“Having worked several times with Stuart at Blackheath Halls in
London, I can only say that it was hardly definable as “work”
because he is so knowledgeable about his craft and so quick and
easy to communicate with, more like fun than work! I actually
look forward to doing soundchecks with Stuart, because of his
vast experience with a variety of professional instruments, and
because his accommodating attitude and work philosophy is the
best in the business.”
Bob Brozman, International touring and recording artist.

"I've
played at Blackheath Halls on many occasions over the years and
always feel safe in the hands of Stuart's wonderful sound
engineering. It's a joy to work with someone who has such an
intuitive approach to his work and an obvious love of people and
their music. It makes for a much more relaxed performance which is all
a performer wants! Thanks Stuart - I look forward to the next one!"

Stuart and his team provide sound and lighting services for auditions
and showcases run by DV8 Training at Stratford Circus. As you can
imagine, with excited young people charging around and loads of up
and coming artists auditioning and performing, there are plenty of
opportunities for things to go wrong. Stuart always manages to keep
his cool, handle the sound and lighting really well and coax great
performances from the raw talent up on stage. DV8 feel like we’re in
safe hands at all times when Stuart and his crew are at the
controls.

"I have had
Stuart Howitt working for me on my clubs for sound with bands and
Djs I have found him to be absolutely professional and a joy to work
with.
I would recommend Stuart to anyone whom needed an engineer and also
a decent person to know."
Jaime Balbontin
- Singer, Songwriter and Promoter. |

"When
I played recently at the Cat's whiskers Club, it was my first outing
with my band as I am usually a solo artist. Stuart made us feel
welcome, valued and secure. The sound was fantastic both on stage
and out front. We couldn't have wished for a better debut thanks to
Stuart."
Katie Brayben - Singer,
Songwriter |

"I was highly impressed with the
support given to us on our performance day. Working in such a short
space of time and with 60 young performers is a challenging
prospect, but I felt that the two technicians were understanding and
respectful of the specific needs of our primary school production
team. Their swift support allowed us to concentrate on the artistic
aspects of the production. I was also confident in your advise
pre-performance regarding equipment and was very grateful that you
made concessions because of our budget restrictions. I hope that we
can work together in the future."

"Thank you Stuart. It's
really helpful, when there's so many aspects of an event to
consider, to have Stuart Howitt Production Services staying cool,
staying in contact, and often providing extra bit's of equipment and
support at very late stages without a ruffle of feathers. I look
forward to working with you again"

"So
Long Angel are always delighted to work with Stuart. He has a very
calm, professional approach to sound checking and to monitoring
sound. On Cat's Whiskers nights he works with three acts, usually
with varying degrees of experience and expectation, and he always
delivers excellent sound. while putting performers at their ease.
Stuart is equally at home at Blackheath Halls in the large room with
its acoustics which are notoriously difficult for anything other
than acoustic music, and in the intimate small hall. Stuart has
terrific ears, great sensitivity and a wealth of
technical knowledge. He's simply the best."

"Stuart ran the live sound
at Cats Whiskers gigs and always got a really crisp,
well-balanced sound whatever the line up on stage, whether
it's a solo singer -songwriter or a ten piece band with
drums, woodwind and strings. He's a true pro and great to
work with too - he makes the artist feel at home and he
never loses his cool!"
