Stratford Circus is a contemporary
performing arts venue in the cultural quarter of
Stratford in East London. It was designed by
Levitt Bernstein, with the ambition to provide a
regional centre of innovation in Newham to
reflect the residents' cultures and communities
whilst also filling a niche within the
London-wide arts scene.

Circus 1
A 300-seat auditorium with sprung dance floor
and flexible seating, equipped to international
standards for lighting, sound, projection etc.
Multi-purpose space licensed to accommodate up
to 300 patrons seated or 550 standing. There is
also space for wheel chairs. Seating
configuration is based around a courtyard shaped
auditorium consisting of retractable stalls
seating, and a lower and upper balcony. Other
seating configurations are available subject to
council approval and public licensing laws.
Staging facilities include counterweight flying
bars and permanent lighting rig plus forestage
area located on lift for use as orchestra pit,
additional seating units or extendable acting
area.

Circus 2
A 93-seat auditorium with sprung dance floor and
flexible seating, equipped to international
standards for lighting, sound, projection etc.
Multi-purpose space licensed to accommodate up
to 93 patrons seated or 160 standing. Seating
configuration is end on. Other seating
configurations are available subject to council
approval and public licensing laws.

Circus 3
A large, flexible rehearsal studio space, with
sprung dance floor, mirrors, adjustable shading
etc, and adaptable for performance.
This bright dance studio measures 15m x 15m and
comes with a sprung floor, mirrors and bars. It
can accommodate a maximum of 120 people standing
and can be set out in cabaret style.
