Live Events RAMS Pack

£39.00Price

£39 + VAT (£46.80 inc. VAT for UK buyers) · Instant download · Version 2.2 (October 2026)

Stop rebuilding your RAMS from scratch before every show.

Built by Stuart Howitt — 25+ years in UK live events and Production Manager for Planet Rock's Rockstock and Winter's End festivals. These are the risk assessments and method statements he'd want to see from a crew or contractor, with real live-event example hazards so you start from worked examples rather than a blank page.

Who it's for

Production managers, riggers, crew chiefs, small production companies and venue teams who need to submit RAMS to a venue, promoter or local authority.

What's inside — 11 files, one download

RA_01 Stage Build & Rigging · RA_02 Crowd Management · RA_03 Load In / Load Out · RA_04 Pyrotechnics & SFX · RA_05 General Event Site · RA_BLK Blank Risk Assessment

How it works

Each template opens in any web browser on a Mac, PC or tablet — no software to install. Confirm or edit the example hazards, rate the current risk on the 5×5 matrix, track further actions with owners and evidence, then record the revised risk and the decision to start work. A status panel shows what is still missing or inconsistent, and printed copies carry a DRAFT watermark until every check passes and the document is issued. A separate work-release panel shows whether the document actually releases work. Save a copy and reopen it later to carry on or start the next revision, then print or save as PDF.

Developed with reference to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, CDM 2015, RIDDOR 2013, the Fire Safety Order 2005 and the Purple Guide.

What clients say about Stuart's work

FAQ

Can I edit the templates? Yes — every field and example hazard can be changed, removed or added to. Use “Save a copy” to keep an editable copy of your work and “Open a saved copy” to pick it up again later. Keep the original files to start each new assessment.

Do I need Microsoft Word? No. The templates run in your browser. Only the user guide is a Word document.

Will a venue accept it? The templates follow the risk assessment and method statement layout venues and local authorities typically ask for. What gets accepted is the content you complete — always review and adapt each one for your site, activity and crew.

Is there a free sample? Yes — grab the free H&S Legislation Quick Reference from the store to see the quality first.
